FAQ
Which gemstones can I choose for the necklaces?
The collection includes moonstone (the Double Rainbow, Serene, Virtue styles), natural pearls, rose quartz, lapis lazuli (Charlotte), Blue Copper turquoise, and white topaz. Each stone brings a different hue and story, from the deep blue of lapis to the milky shimmer of moonstone.
What do the golden specks in lapis lazuli or the hazy look of moonstone mean?
They’re signs of authenticity, not flaws. The golden specks in lapis lazuli are natural pyrite inclusions, and the milky, floating look of moonstone is called adularescence. Because they’re natural stones, each necklace has a unique pattern that can’t be replicated exactly.
What are the necklaces made of?
The base is 925 Sterling Silver (92.5% silver), also available 14K gold plated — a layer of about 2 microns in yellow or rose tones. A few styles are solid 14K gold. The chain and clasp are designed to support the stone comfortably for everyday wear.
What length are they, and can they be layered?
Most have the chain around 40-45 cm, many with an extender ring for a few extra centimeters. They’re excellent for layering: a shorter gemstone necklace alongside a longer simple chain. Indira’s subtle pieces complete your look without weighing it down.
How do I care for a natural stone necklace?
Put the necklace on last when you get dressed and take it off first. Keep the stone away from perfume, water, sweat, and cosmetics — especially turquoise and lapis, which are porous. Wipe it with a soft cloth and store it separately so the chain doesn’t scratch the stone. For plated styles, plating wear over time is normal.
Does the necklace come with a certificate and packaging?
Yes. The authenticity of the stones is confirmed through batch-level certification, and every order includes the warranty certificate from Indira and thoughtful packaging, perfect for gifting.
