FAQ
What makes a pendant necklace special?
The pendant is the piece that carries the message. Whether you choose a moonstone that catches the light, a delicate cross, a pearl, or a floral symbol from the Birthflower collection, the pendant turns a simple chain into something personal. At Indira, every design is made to be worn day after day, year after year, and to become part of your story.
What materials are pendant necklaces made of?
Most are crafted in 925 Sterling Silver (Sterling silver with 92,5% purity), also available in a 14K gold-plated version — an approximately 2-micron layer applied to silver, in yellow, rose, or rhodium tones. You'll also find pieces in solid 14K gold. The set stones are natural, except for cubic zirconia, which is explicitly mentioned in the description.
What chain length should I choose?
Length completely changes how the necklace sits. A 40-45 cm chain rests close to the base of the neck and pairs well with higher necklines, while 45-50 cm falls elegantly on the sternum and is easy to layer. Many styles have an adjustment ring, so you can adjust by a few centimeters. If you're unsure, write to us and we'll guide you based on your outfit.
Can I layer multiple pendant necklaces?
Yes, and layering is one of the most beautiful ways to wear them. Pair a short pendant with a longer chain, or a stone-set design with a minimalist one. The subtle and delicate Indira pieces are designed exactly for this — they complete your look discreetly, without overwhelming it.
Will the gold plating wear off over time?
Gold plating is a fine layer and, like any plating, it can gradually wear through friction, contact with perfume, sweat, or water. This is a normal process, not a defect. You can extend its life by putting the necklace on last when you get dressed, keeping it away from cosmetics, and storing it in a resealable pouch. For intensive daily wear, plain sterling silver or solid gold remain the most durable choices.
Does the necklace come with a certificate and gift packaging?
Every order includes the warranty certificate by Indira and neat packaging, perfect for gifting. The authenticity of the stones and materials is ensured through batch-level certification, which allows us to offer you fine jewelry at accessible prices, with no compromise on quality.
