FAQ
What is an Indira Birthstone cord bracelet?
Each bracelet features your birth month stone, set on an adjustable textile cord. It’s the jewel that tells a personal story: garnet for January, amethyst for February, aquamarine for March, white topaz for April, green onyx for May, moonstone for June, ruby for July, peridot for August, sapphire for September, opal for October, citrine for November, and blue topaz for December.
What size are they and how do they adjust on the wrist?
The cord has a sliding knot that tightens or loosens, so one size fits most wrists, from child to adult. Pull it until it feels comfortable, without pressing. This adjustability makes the bracelet an ideal gift, since you don’t need to know the person’s size in advance.
What’s the difference between the Silver and Golden versions?
The Silver version has a setting made of 925 silver (92,5% pure silver), while the Golden version is 925 silver plated with a 14K gold layer of about 2 microns. Both house the same natural stone; the choice simply comes down to the metal tone you prefer, cool or warm.
Are the stones natural?
Yes. All stones are natural, and their authenticity is certified at the supplier’s batch level. Every order includes a warranty certificate. Natural stones may have small inclusions or slight color variations from one piece to another—these are signs of authenticity, not defects.
How do I care for more delicate stones, such as opal or moonstone?
Soft, porous stones, such as opal, moonstone, or citrine, need a bit of care. Put them on last, after perfume and cream, and keep them away from prolonged water exposure. Moonstone has a milky, translucent look with bluish reflections called adularescence, a completely natural property. Wipe the cord and the stone with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Can I wear several months together or gift them for martisor?
Absolutely. Cord bracelets layer beautifully in stacking, gathering the months of the whole family on the same wrist. They’re also a warm, personal martisor, especially in the version with the recipient’s birth month stone.
